February may have dreaded being sent to this tiny Maine town to "recharge" but she changes her mind when she meets the gorgeous lumberjack bar owner who took care of her after she snuck out of the wellness center where she was "recharging." But despite how instantly she and Brock form a connection, they're miles apart, and not just physically. She's a fancy handbag designer in New York and he's a bar owner in Maine. They couldn't be more different and more perfect for each other. They'll just have to find a way to blend their lives together.
Brock tries to do at least one good thing a day. He did his good deed today when he helped the gorgeous February get back to the wellness center where she was apparently sent to by her company. He can't stop thinking about her even though she's the least appropriate woman he can think of for him. He's a small town guy and she lives in New York and designs fancy purses. How can these two opposites possibly work? Especially when a bombshell revelation is laid on him?
I don't think I'll ever tire of Penelope and Vi's brand of romance with heart. Brock and February (love the name!) have smokin' chemistry, but what I love most is how heartfelt their story is. They could have let go of each other when it got hard, when life took a huge twist. But nope, that connection they formed so quickly wouldn't allow them to quit, even though getting through it was difficult and took more than the usual amount of work. By the time I read the last page, I was smiling, as this adorable couple of opposites finally got their happy ever after that they had worked so hard for.
