Challenger: A True Story of Heroism and Disaster on the Edge of Space by Adam Higginbotham

challenging emotional informative reflective sad tense medium-paced

4.5

First 200 pages is history of NASA and backstory of people involved. Interesting but a bit of a slog at times. Next 200 pgs is lead up and details of Challenger disaster, investigation and aftermath. Last 50 pgs is NASA and families post-Challenger. These last 250 pgs were fascinating and unputdownable. Book ends on 448. Epilogue, photos, etc next. I started with audio but narrator was not for me; switched to kindle.
