I skimmed about half of this book. Originally I didn’t have any interest in this but I’ve been rewatching basically every Star Wars movie and tv show on Disney+ and I did like the Ahsoka novel by the same author, so I decided to give this a chance. There just never seemed to be anything happening in this book. Sure, there were plot points, but the writing style was keeping the reader at arms length so nothing ever felt... real I guess. I mean I know this is fiction but like, it felt more like a summary than an actual story if that makes sense.

I will say the epilogue was cool and I would read a Sabé/Tsabin novel maybe, especially if it were like a spy book, but that was the best part of the book by far.
