Lies Lies Lies
by Adele Parks
Ahhh this book is one of those that should not have been classified as a thriller, as it is definitely more of a domestic drama. I think the alternating perspectives between Daisy and Simon provided an interesting way of telling the story since we were able to see both sides of the situation and how both were flawed in their communication. I don’t think I liked either of them, or any character really. The title really says it all as you are never sure what the real truth is until the very end. The pace was odd and I felt like it took a good 100 pages for me to be even slightly interested in the story since I was just waiting for something to happen! Overall, it was readable but I was left feeling disappointed and bored. Also so many parts just did not make sense and were not realistic at all?
