Everything up until now has merely been a preamble. Now as we enter the final part of Elenium, Sparhawk and his companions must overcome enemies and self doubts as they strive to complete the final part of their quest.
Unfortunately, as with all great quests there is tragedy aplenty and not everyone will see the completion of the quest.
For me this is the best part of the trilogy, as it equals the proceeding books for humour and adventure, yet it surpasses them in the tragedy stakes.
