I am so over this stupid "humble" heroine! Really? She is "irritated" that she's the one that the First Lady calls to ask about her potential dead hubby president? I liked her being smart and being the heroine but her character is just too "oh, gee, who me!" The author allows her to brilliantly solve the unsolvable and then makes her an aw-shucks dumb-ass female. I am going to skim to the end of this book.

I loved the first book, and tolerated the second one! I'm done and I'm crushed to have to say this!
