Busman's Honeymoon by Dorothy L. Sayers

5.0

This was, as Sayers described it, a love story interrupted by a murder mystery, rather than the other way around. I found the mystery engaging and interesting, but I found the love story beautiful. A complex, real, clumsy, vulnerable and romantic window into the honeymoon of two average-looking, middle-aged, beautiful-souled people. My favorite Sayers book so far, although very different from the others I have read.
