easily my favorite read of the year so far. this book was devestating. i am heartbroken and hopeful at the same time. the lessons Betty learns echo into my thoughts about my own life. a very reflective and painful read, but one i will likely pick up again and again. it’s also full of hope and optimism and the little joys of being a daughter and a sister. a book i will recommend and buy and share!
