Friction
by Sandra Brown
I think I may have sprained every muscle in my face rolling my eyes and grimacing at the cliched, inane sex scenes, the toxic masculinity, and the pervasive gender stereotyping in this book. Had I not listened to the audio book version (which also was not done well) as I drove, there is no way I would have finished it. The plot was ok until the end when the (obvious) villain's underwhelming, hardly believable motive was revealed. My first and last Sandra Brown. Read for ACPL Reading Challenge
