I happily judge books by their covers and this one threw me OFF. Feels like the author started to write a rom-com and then realized ain't shit funny.  FMC is maybe one of my favorite book characters now.  The way she felt trapped (in her compulsions, in her family obligations, in her own rules, etc) felt so real.
