Trayvon Martin Ten Years Later A Mother's Essay by Sybrina Fulton

5.0

It's hard to believe it's already been ten years since Trayvon Martin was murdered. These words by his mother are haunting and powerful. There is so much I would love to quote here, that it would end up being basically the whole thing.

You owe it to yourself and to the Black community to read this, especially if you are a white person in the US. I can't recommend this enough. It is painful and raw and emotional and an incredibly important window into what so many people are forced to deal with. When there is such a push against things like CRT and education on racism and racial injustice, this is a perfect example of why these things are needed in our society.

Please read this.
