This graphic novel broke my heart. I went into reading it without knowing anything at all about it hence why it was probably more of an emotional rollercoaster. I was worried this would be a cliché story with a predictable ending but thank goodness I was wrong. For me it was the opposite to what I thought it would be like which made me enjoy it more. I like it when things go the way you didn't expect. I certainly related to Freddy although my favourite character was doodle. It wasn't your usual teen romance it highlights the struggle of being in an addictive yet toxic relationship along with being afraid of losing someone after a breakup. Your partner is also your friend thats what makes breakups the hardest. It was refreshing to not see this sugar coated or glossed over. I think the author did a very good job at portraying emotions. I enjoyed reading this especially because the art was so beautiful! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a heartbreaking romance or anyone in general aha.
