Micah, 17 year old Chicago artist, has an anonymous Instagram account where he shares his sketches of failed crushes and fake fairy tale novel esque scenarios. He’s up to 99 “boyfriends” and is determined that number 100 will be the one, the one he asks out. He meets number 100 on the L train, a flirty cute boy with a cool pumpkin leather jacket and two bags full of library books. There’s a mishap and they miss getting to share numbers, or even each others names. Micah is left only with the abandoned pumpkin jacket and his hopes of finding what he hopes to be his first boyfriend… but I can’t help but think that Micah’s best friend’s other very sweet best friend fancies him 🤔

I thought this one was very cute and captured how confusing love can be as a teenager. Extra .25 stars for the inclusion of illustrations!!!
