Fleishman Is in Trouble by Taffy Brodesser-Akner
4.0

I love Brodesser-Akner’s NYT profiles: they’re smart, incisive, and a little left of center. This novel is pretty much the same: an enjoyable and smart read that’s also funny in parts. A few parts don’t work as well—there’s some lines that clunk a bit, but overall, I enjoyed this and think most of the people I know would too. (And after recommending it, I went back and reread the last two sections because I wasn’t ready to let the book go.)
