Allegiance of Honor by Nalini Singh
5.0

2nd read: I feel much more magnanimous about this the second time around. Part of it absolutely as to do with saving it for last, since this is the big Happily Ever After for so many of our favorite couples, with little nods to all those who feature in the "second season" of the series after this (as described by Nalini Singh herself). Seeing everybody truly come together and being able to almost see the big web that connects them all together is simply magical. Plus, while I still would have liked to see the "Big Plot" given a proper finale, this still did something huge by showcasing a huge part of the problem for why the Honeycomb hasn't completely fixed everything, and set the groundwork for what has to happen next to ensure their survival. I'm so beyond excited for the next book in the series, and so glad I did this huge read-through!

1st read: Surprise, I loved it. Not my favorite being an ensemble book that didn't wrap up The Big Plot but it was still so swell to see everybody. Missed you guys. Augh.
