As always, I finish a Kitty King book, and I'm all worked up, hot and bothered, but this one was sexy and sweet. There seemed to be more depth to Max and Livia. I really enjoyed that.
I'm always so intrigued when an author seems to know a lot about the ins and outs of organized crime. There were parts that I thought that Kitty King had to have some kind of inner workings of organized crime. It's a little sus π but also riveting!
This was such an exciting book. I've loved The Color Series and The Wrong Man, but I felt like these characters were more developed. I was distraught when things would happen to these characters (No Spoilers Here). I audibly gasped at least twice.
I am also dying to know what happens next. How could it end like that?!
