nataliebriggs29 's review for:
Murder in Mesopotamia
by Agatha Christie
christie writes a damn good mystery. everything is accounted for and it ends up making total sense and you can’t believe how you missed it in the first place.
my gripes with this are: too many characters (men) to keep track of and it’s just awkward to read english literature from this era when it talks about anyone who is not english. the xenophobia is always crazy in these and the story still works without it so it’s just awkward
