American Vampire 12-18: 2 stars
The first American Vampire volume featured Skinner as the star of the show (and I am always here for a baddie protagonist) but in this volume (and volume 2) he is the evil guy on the sidelines. I just didn't vibe with the Pearl/Henry story so this was underwhelming overall.
However...
Survival of the Fittest 1-5: 4 stars
Secret societies, underground laboratories, covert operations, Romanian castles, NAZI VAMPIRES?? Loved it!!
