wow i loved this series. lara jean is such a lovable and relatable character that i felt could be a real person. all of the characters had so much depth and personality which i loved. i also really enjoyed how even though it was a romance novel it wasnt constantly about lara jean and her love life. it included her family and friends and even her relationship with a lady at an old people home thing lol. you really get a look at the characters personal lives and history. one character i felt myself not as connected to was chris. i felt she was a much better friend to lara jean in the movie but in the book she just dropped in whenever she was drunk and needed a place to stay (although later on when she went on the road trip with lara jean i found myself liking her a lot more). it was a super light hearted book series that i could not stop reading and got super sad when i finished. although the ending made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. im looking forward to the second movie but i hope they do it justice because these books are perfect. ♡
