I absolutely loved everything about this book. I can see how it may not appeal to some folks, but this is a book that spoke to my soul at a time in my life when I needed it. I've thrown myself into my own backyard garden this year and it has helped ease pandemic anxiety and given me a sense of purpose during this weird time. Were the characters cliché? Yes. Did I care? No. I also appreciated that the love story was there, but almost an underlying plot line. This book really hit the mark for me and I listened to most of it while gardening myself.
