Anathem by Neal Stephenson
5.0
This was my third or fourth read or listen through this book, and I absolutely loved it, just as all the previous times! Great story and characters with lots of really interesting ideas and an unbelievable amount of subtext and references to human history and philosophical thought. I would totally read a version of this book with footnotes for everything if it existed. I feel like I get a lot of the references and really enjoy the way he works them into the book but I'm also sure that there are tons more that I am missing. A great read.
Listened to it again as the last book in my PhD dissertation writing Neal Stephenson Marathon, and loved it as much as all of the previous times!
