I loved the first 70% of this book. Honestly, as someone who is not a Christina Lauren fan, I was surprised this one was written by one of the authors. The beginning had me hooked. 
Then the third act breakup and conflict came along, and it was just all so exhausting. Things would never happen that way. How a couple could wrap things up so perfectly after such a tense situation is beyond me. It felt way too serious for the first 70%. In fact the whole conflict felt too serious.
It felt like I was reading two different books, which is what I always found disappointing about Christina Lauren books. And the cover?? What is this cover? It has nothing to do with the story and really trivializes the serious subject matter. Blegh.
