Hourglass by Myra McEntire

This one was slow for me in the beginning - it took a good two hundred or more pages for it to really start moving on the time-traveling issue.

Also, I felt like it was trying tooooo hard to have a strong, self-sufficient heroine. I certainly love a female main character who is independent and can take care of herself, but this one just kind of annoyed me because it felt so forced.

If I had the second book right now, I'd almost certainly read it, but since it'll be a while until it comes out and I'll likely have forgotten many of the details of this one, I don't imagine I'll be hunting it down.
