I had an incredibly hard time getting into this book. The first half was boring and just...I don't know, not great in my opinion.

Then she gets kidnapped.

And it got soooo much better. I'm really glad that I kept going with it and didn't DNF it. 

It's a fascinating look into religious trauma and how it can affect the psyche. 

I would definitely recommend!
