Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China by Jung Chang

5.0

The book is thorough. Captures pretty much the whole 20th century in China - from women needing to bind their feet to attract suitors, to Communism & Mao.

Life can change in a blink of an eye - for better or worse. Powerful read and really well written - not only was I not bored, I was hooked. Jung made me experience everything alongside her.
