Majesty by Katharine McGee

3.5

It wasn’t anything super special, especially since the plot was mostly bouncing from shock to shock instead of having a true climax(at least in my opinion).

The one thing I have always found unique about this series specifically is how it completely changes the love interests in a way that makes sense for the characters. Like in the first book, you were totally rooting for Connor and Beatrice, and you expected Teddy to end up with Sam in the end. Then you get to this book, and it’s completely turned on its head, but somehow you’re okay with it. I think that’s super unique to this series and I’ve almost never seen done effectively in any other novel.
