The Harbors of the Sun by Martha Wells

4.0

Interesting twists and turns in this latest installment of The Books of the Raksura!

I very much liked this installment in the continuing adventures of the consort Moon and his friends! The story starts off with Moon enjoying domestic bliss. But things are never easy for him, and he's forced to choose between staying with his clutch or venturing back out into the world to head off trouble that could be truly catastrophic. Moon makes new groundling friends, travels new lands, and gets into dire scrapes (again)! We get more glimpses into the long vanished Forunner civilization, and discover that they had friends and allies in an equally vanished civilization. The interactions between the Raksuran queens are especially fun in this story. If you liked the previous installments of this series, then there's no reason to stop now!
