Radio Silence by Alice Oseman

5.0

OH. MY. GOD.

I.... I have no words. This was INCREDIBLE!

Things I adored:
The first half of the book felt like it was my life incarnate. Moulin Rouge? Patterned Leggings? Hardcore obsessing over a piece of fiction? (Like I am right now). Literally me in a nutshell. How could a book possibly connect with me more?
The fact that the romance took a backseat to the platonic relationships. The friendship between the two main characters was so refreshing and wonderful. Do you know how rare it is to find a story like this? I was speechless!
The conversations were all so real and fun to read. I would kill to play Frances in a movie adaptation because some of the exchanges that she has are so incredibly fun and just amazing.
THE ACE REPRESENTATION!! I know it's small but, hell YEAH. It was so surreal to get represented so casually and perfectly. Aswell as all the other wonderful representation too. (The fact that this was written by an aromantic, asexual author just makes it even better and more special for me.)
The chapters were short and made it very easy to get through. I felt like I had been reading for five minutes after reading 100 pages. The time just flew by.

Things I didn't like:
Nothing, because it was all PHENOMENAL

You are going straight on my favourites list, you perfect and incredible piece of literature you.
