I plan on cancelling my Kindle Unlimited subscription at the end of the month - I enjoyed it to read all the Harry Potter & Truly Devious books, but there's enough ways to read books that I no longer want to pay for it - so I tried to get a handful more in before cancelling. This was the first!
It's very highly rated on both Amazon & Goodreads, and I enjoyed it! When Lizzy's grandmother dies, she winds up heading back to the town she grew up in to prepare the family farm for sale. It's got a mystery, there's some suspense, family drama, a bit of love & some magic(nothing over the top - more of a "knowing") all in one, which can be tricky to pull off, but it worked for me! I was engaged listening the whole time - glad I got it in before cancelling Kindle Unlimited!
