Only for the Week by Natasha Bishop

You’d think it’d be super hard to watch your ex marry your sister but to Janelle, she could care less. Janelle has moved on from her ex and she’s focused on her career as a successful OG/GYN and working towards opening a practice that will focus on treating women of color, especially Black Women.

All she wants is for her family to stop treating her like she’s fragile and survive the week from dealing with her bridezilla sister.

Y’all this book had me in a chokehold. I finished this is less than a day. The attraction that Janelle and Rome had made me melt. Actually don’t even get me started on Rome. That man literally got a yacht so she could enjoy her book peacefully by the water. A YACHT for to read peacefully by the water!

I enjoyed how Janelle learned to put boundaries between herself and her family. It’s not an easy thing to do but you have to put yourself first and love at a distance.

Also, I’m so invested in the other characters! I hope we get to read their stories too!
