Flora's Wish by Kathleen Y'Barbo

2.0

Normally, I can get into mind popcorn like this pretty easily, however I didn't really like this book. I just found the main characters kind of frustrating, especially the "Hero." His preoccupation with holding Flora in custody got tiring. That and the fact that he was obsessing over the case.

Flora for her part, was frustrating at times as well. Her obsession with marrying Will Tucker was kind of as annoying as Lucas' (I think that was his name) obsession with catching Will Tucker. Neither of the main characters have any sort of trust in each other, which makes sense at the beginning but I feel like it doesn't get any better until they suddenly realize they love each other and magically they trust each other and believe each other. I wasn't too impressed with the ending either, the way that Lucas' declares himself to Flora.

In short, I wasn't a huge fan of this book.
