Overall, I enjoyed The Home-wrecker, and I will definitely be continuing this series.
Unfortunately, this book was a little bit of a miss for me. I sat with this review for a while because I couldn't exactly pinpoint what was the big issue with it and in the end, I just think that plotwise the book didn't make sense for me, and it felt rushed. It was a case of miscommunication, over miscommunication, and again over miscommunication, and all that, for different unrelated topics. I just think that too many plot points were put into this single book, and we were left with a lot of plot holes.
With that being said, there were some parts of this book that were immaculate. Like in all of Sara's books, the characters' development and their stories are so beautiful and emotional that you can't help to root for them and their happiness. As for the spice, you already know it was top-tier 😮💨
At the end of the day, I am really excited for the next one! With all the little hints we got in The Home-wrecker, I can't wait to uncover all the mysteries behind that Goode brother 🤫
