This is a charming and heartwarming story of a 17 year-old girl and 83 year-old woman who meet at a hospital as they are both dying. The writing is simple and clear, often spinning images that will not soon leave me. I listened to the audiobook and really appreciated the two narrators’ interpretations of the novel. I did get a bit lost with the introductions of various characters and probably could have followed better if reading it. Of course, this story is very sad yet it is remarkably inspirational too.
