✨ cowboy romance
✨ grumpy x sunshine
✨ forced proximity
✨ damaged hero

When Molly comes into Starlight Canyon as the new manager she is now roommates and working closely under Dashiell Hunter, the grumpy broody cowboy who doesn’t want anyone in his space. Dash is a lone wolf and prefers it that way and when Molly with her curves and sunshine attitude blow into his life and his apartment he can’t help but be drawn to her. But Dash has been in the dark too long and the last thing he wants is to drag Molly down with him. But neither of them can deny their attraction and when it snaps will either of them be able to be more to each other. Or is Dash tortured soul and tender heart unable to open again.

I freaking loved every minute of this story. This is by far a sexy, broody cowboy who has been through the unthinkable and has shut out the world as his way to cope. Dash has such a tender heart under his glares and frowns that he doesn’t let much see but I love watching Molly sunshine and light slowly start to open Dash up to his closed off world.

Molly is looking for a fresh start for her and her sister and when the ranch manager position opens up with a free apartment she jumps at the chance to make Starlight the place to be. She’s a dedicated and hard worker who doesn’t let any challenge stop her, especially when the challenge is wrapped in wrangers and tattoos. She wants to know all of Dash’s secrets and why he hides such a beautiful soul so deeply inside of him. These two are the perfect balance for each other and help heal one another from their past. Dash is scared of a lot and it causes him to drive away from Molly but I love the way he realizes life keeps moving and to her Molly in.

Their story is spicy, tension filled, heartbreaking and so beautiful. There’s nothing this story misses. The side characters add so much extra to this book, it’s filled with love and acceptance. This is a definite add to your TBR to experience the Hunters and everything Starlight Canyon has to offer.
