i read this book ages ago so this is me trying to pull stuff out of my noggin but it was so beautifully written, like the starless sea it’s an amazing location that’s so vivid and paired with Morgenstern’s writing style you really get whisked away into the world. Loved all of the characters (especially poppet and widget). as far as the plot goes there isn’t much but that didn’t stop my enjoyment of the book?? like there’s things going on but they’re not really progressing but don’t let this stop you from reading it because it doesn’t make it a bad book in the slightest. it just kind of is its own thing. highly recommend was good fun and i want to escape there slay.
