This is NOT a cozy fantasy book. There is way too much violence and other triggering subjects. This is the most content warnings I've listed for any book. This book covers a wide range of triggering subjects and makes it very hard to recommend it to anyone who is interested in a cozy fantasy. There's also a lot of political intrigue and I don't find that cozy. There are good things about this book and an audience for it; it's just not a cozy book.
