This was a really great change of pace for my reading recently. I loved how quiet the book felt both in it's writing and the illustrations. It captured the weirdness and unknowing of being a weird and unknowing teen confused and in love for the first time. Oddly comforting for a story teeming to the brim with awkward teen energy. But it gets it. It trusts you and lets you be there without holding your hand.
