The Killing of Polly Carter by Robert Thorogood

4.0

Like the first novel the second novel perfectly captures the characters and atmosphere of the Death in Paradise series. The murder mystery is of the same high quality as those in the tv series. The murder appears impossible at first, but is perfectly possible when it is explained at the end. The book, at least my kindle version, was shorter than expected since the last sixty or so pages are an excerpt from the first novel. This means the book ends sooner than expected. Which is not necessarily a bad thing for a murder mystery, since you know that the solution only comes at the end.
