if you've watched the anime Sasaki and Miyano and want to continue with that world, I highly recommend reading this spin off series. If you're going to read Sasaki and Miyano, you can read up to volume 6 then start this series! Or you can read this one first, it doesn't matter.

This first manga still has that same vibe that Sasaki and Miyano have. It keeps a lot of the characters and introduces a few new ones. One of the reasons why I loved Sasaki and Miyano so much was the witty writing, and realistic relationships with both the love interests and the friends surrounding them. This romantic manga titles represent healthy relationships and remind me of HoriMiya and how it representsents everyday hurdles for high schoolers.

Both Sasaki and Miyano, and Hirano and Kagirua are lgbtq, supporting two male love interests with one who is completely head over heels and the second who is clueless to their advances. I like how realistic it feels and it's not a sudden romance.

As for this particular manga title I liked it. The beginning was a little confusing for me and I wasn't hooked in right away as I was with the original series. Kagirua has a hard time getting up in the morning, and relies on his new roommate Hirano to help him. He's been relying on him so much it seems he now has a crush. After the halfway point I found myself interested and ESPECIALLY after seeing the interactions with Sasaki, who is my favorite. I adore seeing him more!

I thought the story was a good introduction and I especially loved it when Hirano decided on the gift he was going to give him in return. It was sweet.
