This Read Caribbean was not planned for August but as I was going on vacation, I wanted something light with some romance after just finishing 2 thrillers and a heavy fiction.
This is the third Nicola Yoon book that I am reading by and once again, I was not disappointed. I read this book by the pool and any chance it got! I kept laughing out as I read and my son and god daughter were looking at me like I grew two heads.
It was funny, sweet and real —> Love Moves To It’s Own Beat (Nicola’s words not mine). I loved visualizing each scene from X and Evie’s dance practices to the heartbreak - the realness of life and love.
It’s a story about how willing are you to fall in love when you know you will eventually lose that person and heartbreak.
If you love rom-com give this one a try. If you don’t do romance, still give this one a try. Trust me!
