Didn’t love it, didnt hate it. I felt some of Zahir’s actions were questionable and his aggression/directness came off as borderline controlling. I think the story had cute moments, but I don’t know how trustworthy Zahir was. Had I been in this situation, I probably wouldn’t have paid him any mind the next time they met. Yall wanted this to be a one night stand, let it stay that way.
Separately, I think when it came to Sovanna’s situation with her parents, she forgave her dad a little too easily for me. His response just wasn’t good enough for me. You’re projecting your anger at the choices you made to become a parent on me, that’s not my fault. Don’t guilt trip me.
