Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han
5.0
Dear whoever comes across this review,
This book abosulety wrecked me. Like full on tears streaming down my face, emotionally wrecked. I truly wish this series could go on forever because by the time I got to the last page I didn’t want it to be over. This book series as a whole will definitely go down as one of my favorites. The series brought me so much comfort that I haven’t felt in any books that I’ve read for the first time it was eerie.
I know everyone talks about the iconic love story which is Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky, which I adore obviously. They just felt meant to be even through the fake dating, the break ups, and make ups they felt like they were it for each other. But honestly the one thing about this series that I truly really loved was the family dynamic. To get to know Lara Jean’s family especially her sisters made this book series hit so close to home. They didn’t feel like props all of them felt so real. The Song sisters will be engraved in my memory in how authors should write siblings the right way.
Lara Jean as the female lead of this series, I couldn’t say this any other way, was perfection. She was an actual fleshed out person with interests, hopes, dreams, and personality. Hallelujah! The thing I liked most about her was how much she loved love and how she was starry eyed and hopeful about everything.
The only thing that disappointed me was how long I waited to read this series. Other than that I loved literally everything that came together to create such a stunnning series. A series that I hope to cherish always and forever.
