Rating 4.75 (Might be changed at a later date)

The Sweet: I was instantly hooked when I started reading that opening scene. Amani is such a kick booty character. Everything she does either makes me laugh, scream or wish I was her. She is so intelligent, witty, and brave. I loved seeing her accomplish everything she wanted to do. She proved everyone wrong and broke all gender stereotypes in her world. Everything she did was unexpected and exhilarating. Jin is actually the love of my life. He was so funny and caring. Jin made this story extremely lively. Honestly, I adored almost every character in this book. They were so alive and had a fierce passion that drove them to do what they did. Another thing I loved was that Alywn Hamilton's writing was so beautiful and poetic. Everything he wrote just resonated with me and made me really appreciate him

The Sour: I actually don't have anything I hate about this book! I liked this book so much! But I'm not sure I'm in love with it. I'll figure that out though.

Overview: I HIGHLY reccomend this book if you love fantasy, westerns, kick butt females (and males), and books that relate to the middle east.
