As a huge fan of the CBB podcast and show, as someone who subscribes to CBB World and has seen multiple live shows and has a few CBB t-shirts, I actually feel bad/guilty rating this only two stars. Should I even write this review?
I struggled to get through this book and to enjoy any part of it. I just didn't laugh. I think it may be due to the fact that delivery is such an important part of comedy and simply reading the content it fell flat. Maybe I need the delivery of the guests, with their cadence and wonderful accents to fulfill me, I don't know.
I am so glad there are so many positive and glowing reviews for this book and I hope future readers get a good laugh out of it
