Deeds of the Disturber by Elizabeth Peters

4.0

3.5 stars. These books crack me up, they really do. It's utter silliness from start to finish, and even when it's utterly predictable, it's still a lot of fun. This one lost a little something for me in that it's set in London instead of Egypt which meant we were deprived of a lot of fabulous characters and settings blah blah blah. Instead, we had Amelia's niece and nephew, who were some of the most obnoxious little shits to ever grace the page.

It's still a lot of fun, and I love how ridiculous Amelia can be without realising it. But this wasn't one of the better books for me.
