I was able to fit this book into a prompt for Get A Clue Readathon hosted by Rainy Blue Reads!
I have always enjoyed Tahereh Mafi's writing style (I also enjoyed the shatter me series by her) but this series is so unique! The writing style is whimsical and beautiful and just honestly sucks me right with each book in this series. I binged all the books that are out in this series in a few weeks and I honestly had the best time with these books!
This series is extremely unique and I have honestly missed how fun a YA love triangle can be.This is not your typical love triangle as both male love interests are toxic in their own way. Alizeh has a choice to make regarding the future of her people. As the lost heir to the Jinn it is her responsibility to find a kingdom to rule for her people.
With 2 princes of different kingdoms trying to convince Alizeh to marry them. Choices have to be made and dark magic is involved. There is a lot riding on these decisions and there is no way of knowing the consequences until it may be too late...
I cannot wait for the next installment in this series and I may be purchasing these first few books soon!
