Radio Silence by Alice Oseman

emotional hopeful medium-paced

3.0

Another book I’ve had in my TBR folder since like 2019. I wish I read it back then, because I felt like I have outgrown this book. Around 2019 was when I was really into YA and now I don’t really enjoy most of the YA books I decide to read.
I didn’t connect to the characters, and I wasn’t reaaallllyy super into the story either, but the writing flowed well and the book went by fast, so it wasn’t a bad reading experience.
It talked about some important mental health stuff, and had a diverse character list, which I really appreciated. And none of it felt forced.
I also really liked that the author didn’t force the main characters to be romantically involved or something and she let them just be best friends throughout the whole story.
All in all, the Kadri 4 years ago would’ve probably given it 4 stars, but today, as a 26-year-old, it’s not gonna get more that 3 stars from me unfortunately.
