Horrible Husbands by Jessica Huntley

4.0

saw this Blurb and Cover combination, and I knew that this was one to read.

The story follows 4 best friends who are now scattered across the country and who have very questionable husbands... each husband is horrible for a different reason to the others.

We follow the ladies as they meet up for a rare weekend break together and decide that something has to be done about them...

I loved how Jessica flitted between each of the friends, which offered a very different POV. We see them at home with their Husbands and bare witness to all that they put the FMC through.

Before we see them together, Jessica has already built empathy up between reader and characters.

The story itself is a classic psychological thriller, and you just know that you're about to have a rollercoaster ride of both action and emotion.

While I did correctly work out a few of the elements of the story (however this happens with many thriller books now and is more a reflection on me rather than the book!), the overall ending really did hit me and I wasn't expecting it no spoilers!)

Overall, this is a great book and definitely one for the psychological thriller lovers out there!
