Okay, don't get me wrong... The Summer of Jordi Perez was a cute book. The only thing that annoyed me was the narrator for the audiobook. That's basically it. Oh, and the whole eating burgers and fat shaming thing. That was weird and I didn't understand it.
Other than that, it was just a cute book. Abby was sort of interesting and slightly entertaining. I can admit that she was uniquely herself all the way through and didn't hold back anything. I also really liked her friendship with Jax. Even if things were a little overdramatic here and there.
In the end, I'm glad that I got to jump into this. It was short and easy to breeze through.
