Nowhere Near You
by Leah Thomas
*ugly sobs my way through this review*
"Ollie? You promised to hug me first. Where are you?"
"Right here." I threw my insulated arms around Moritz's shoulders and held him like I've never held anything. We were boundless.
This is not science fiction."
Y'ALL. These last pages DECIMATED me. Is it a totally closed ending? Definitely not. I'm always going to wonder if Ollie and Moritz are okay. But, my god, is it sad and tragic and beautiful. My tears are burning on my face right now, for numerous reasons and characters, but I so, so loved this duology and these characters and this story. I look forward to what Leah Thomas writes next if it's even half as moving as this series.
I can't wait to buy this one - I can't wait to someday revisit these characters again.
Thank you, Ollie and Moritz and Leah, for making my world better for a little while.
